Wow, it's 2010!

I was so excited to get gift cards for Christmas this year. With being in the later half of the first trimester, my belly is starting to show. A lot of my clothes aren't looking so nice on me these days. So I had a shopping frenzy. Let me tell you, I was absolutely thrilled to see that at Target, they have good quality pantyhose for pregnant women. I have A.ssets pantyhose and now, I realize that I can get maternity pantyhose from them. It's expensive, but they are excellent.

I broke down today and bought a Be.Band. They are made by the same people who make B.ella Bands. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it will be comfortable. My pants are seeming a bit tight these days. I'm still thinking that part of my belly growth is bloating, but Hubby thinks it's baby. He loves it.

My Sister-in-law is so cute. She's really close to my age (and hubby and I are only separated by 4 days, I'm the older woman), only 16 months younger. She's so excited about this baby and being Aunt O. She was rubbing my belly, talking to baby, and kissing my belly. Weird, yes, but sweet all the same. She helped me pick out a lot of the clothes I got. There's a lot to be said about shopping with another woman instead of just with Hubby.

This pregnancy so far has been fairly awesome. I haven't been nauseous very much and I have only been sick once. My lower back has been hurting a lot lately, but it's a posture issue, I think, with the growing chest and all.

I'm so blessed to have a happy pregnancy so far. God has truly given me a miracle. He had me wait a long time to experience this, and now, He is making it perfect. Amazing.

  3. I'm so glad things are going well for you!!! I cannot wait to have people making a big deal out of my baby tummy!!! I think it's sweet :)
You're very lucky to have a SIL that lives nearby; my BIL isn't married and my brother's wife lives 6,000 miles away in Alaska :) My sister also lives there so my Mom, MIL and a couple of girlfriends would be who I'd do my shopping with. I do miss having my sister around ...

  4. Congrats on your pregnancy and how sweet about your SIL! My SIL is only 14 months younger than me and she's been overjoyed about becoming an aunt since we adopted our baby boy 8 months ago!
